The Arkansas Adult Probation and Parole Association is a
nonprofit professional organization which serves as a forum for
Probation/Parole Officers, and other members of the Criminal Justice
System. The Association developed its first Constitution in 1979.
The four founding members saw a need to unite probation and parole
officers towards a common goal. For the first few years, AAPPA
conferences were held annually.
